Different shower heads produce different spray patterns and coverage. A wider spray can cover more of your body, while a more focused spray may suit a smaller shower area. Compare the available styles to find one that works for your bathroom.

Chrome, brushed nickel, and white finishes give you different options for matching your existing shower fixtures. If you are replacing only the shower head, compare its finish with the arm, flange, and other visible fixtures before ordering.

If the existing shower arm and wall connection are still in good condition, you may only need a new shower head. This lets you update the shower without replacing the surrounding plumbing or faucet set.

Shower heads, arms, flanges, and faucet sets can be shipped nationwide or picked up at our 7 North Carolina locations in Fayetteville, Erwin, Sanford, Goldsboro, Winston-Salem, and Ramseur. Call 800-368-6208 to confirm availability for the item you need before ordering or making the trip.
Check these four details before choosing your shower head or related parts.

Check the connection size and how far the shower arm extends from the wall. The arm's position can affect where the shower head sits, especially if you have limited space around the shower curtain or wall.
Inspect the connection where the shower arm meets the wall for signs of leaking, damaged threads, or worn sealant. If the existing connection needs repair, address it before installing a new shower head.
Check the flow rate listed for the shower head and compare it with your existing head if you want a similar water flow. Flow rate is measured in gallons per minute (GPM), so compare the listed rating rather than assuming all shower heads provide the same flow.
Decide whether you need a fixed shower head or a handheld setup before ordering. A handheld system may require additional parts such as a hose, bracket, or diverter, depending on the setup.
The cost depends on whether you need the shower head alone or a complete setup with the shower arm and flange. Faucet sets are also available if you are replacing more than the shower head. Call 800-368-6208 if you are unsure which parts you need.
Yes. Unscrew the old head counterclockwise, clean the arm threads, wrap fresh thread tape clockwise around them, then hand tighten the new head and give it a final quarter turn with pliers wrapped in a cloth so the finish does not scratch.
A leak at the wall can come from the connection where the shower arm meets the fitting behind the wall. Remove the shower arm and inspect the threads for damaged sealant, worn threads, or other signs of a problem. If the connection needs to be resealed, clean the old sealant from the threads and apply new thread sealant before reinstalling the arm. If the fitting behind the wall is damaged or loose, it may need to be repaired before installing a new shower head.
Unscrew the head and look at the small flow restrictor disc inside the swivel connection. Mineral buildup on that disc restricts flow, and soaking it in vinegar dissolves the scale. Check the face holes for buildup at the same time while the head is off.
