Not every furnace problem requires a complete replacement. Parts such as heating elements and sequencers can be replaced when the furnace itself is still in good condition. Check our Nordyne and Miller replacement parts before replacing the entire furnace.

Nordyne mobile home furnaces are designed for manufactured home heating systems, including downflow ductwork that connects through the floor. This makes them different from standard residential furnaces designed for other ductwork configurations.

Nordyne mobile home furnaces are available in different models and heating capacities, giving you options when replacing an existing unit. Compare the available models and their heating capacity, dimensions, and electrical requirements before choosing a replacement.

Furnaces are shipped by freight carrier rather than standard parcel delivery. Freight delivery takes longer and may require someone to be available to receive the shipment. You can also pick up your furnace at one of our 7 North Carolina locations, which are open Saturdays until 1 p.m. See our shipping policy for delivery details before ordering.
Before ordering a replacement furnace, check the information on the existing unit and its electrical panel. Confirm these four details to make sure you choose the correct replacement.

A 10 kW suits a smaller single wide with decent insulation through a mild winter. A 12 kW covers most single wides. A 15 kW suits a double-wide, or a home that sees hard freezes. Going under leaves the unit running flat out on the coldest nights.
Open the panel and read the breaker feeding the furnace. At 240 volts, a 10 kW pulls about 42 amps and a 15 kW about 63, so the two do not sit on the same breaker. Moving up a size usually means heavier wire, which is electrician work. If you are not comfortable reading the panel yourself, call 800-368-6208 with your furnace model, and we will confirm the amperage.
Measure the closet width, depth, and the height to the ceiling. Then check the door opening, since plenty of these will not turn the corner into the closet even when the space itself fits. Leave room at the front to pull the access panel for service later.
Look at how the old unit meets the plenum and where the whip enters the cabinet. A same-kW swap from the same series usually lines up. Anything else needs checking before you order, since our returns and refunds policy covers uninstalled units only and return freight on a furnace runs high.
Cut power at the breaker, wait a full minute, then restore it. That clears most lockouts. If it drops out again within a day, a limit switch tripped for a reason, usually a clogged filter or a blocked return choking the airflow.
There is not one. Electric models heat through elements, so nothing burns and nothing needs lighting. If you are hunting for a pilot, you have a gas unit rather than an electric one. Our Coleman Evcon gas furnaces page covers those.
The serial number on the rating plate carries the date. On most Nordyne units, the first two digits give the week and the next two give the year, so a unit reading 0398 left the factory in early 1998. Check the plate before you call.
We do, and we carry the sequencers, elements, limit switches, and relays that actually fail rather than a catalog of everything. Browse Nordyne and Miller replacement parts, or call us with the model code off the cabinet, and we will match it.
That depends far more on airflow than on the furnace itself. A unit whose filter never got changed runs harder and gives out early. Keeping fresh mobile home furnace filters in it costs little and is the easiest thing you can do.
Only if the wiring supports it. Electric needs a heavy circuit that many older homes never had run. Swapping fuel types means an electrician, not just a furnace. Staying with gas is often simpler, and Coleman Evcon replacement parts keep an existing unit going.
