Every screen is built to the fractional dimensions manufactured homes require. 29 5/8", 35 5/8", and 45 5/8" widths stocked and ready to ship.
Our staff has matched screens to specific manufactured home models and years since 1994. Visit one of our 7 North Carolina locations or call before you order if you are unsure of your size.
Orders ship via USPS and UPS. Most smaller items leave our warehouse within 1 to 7 business days. Tracking sent once your order is on its way.
Unopened screens in original packaging qualify for return within 30 days. A 20% restocking fee applies and buyer covers return shipping costs.
Manufactured home windows are not built to standard residential dimensions. Getting the right screen means understanding exactly what makes these screens different from anything you will find at a hardware store.
Mobile home window openings are built to fractional measurements. A screen listed as 30" will not fit a 29 5/8" opening. Even a quarter inch of difference means the screen will not seat properly in the frame.
Frames are aluminum, which keeps the screen lightweight and resistant to rust. The thinner profile matches the shallower channel depth common in manufactured home window assemblies. If your frame is beyond repair, browse our aluminum windows for full replacement options.
The mesh is fiberglass, not metal. Fiberglass resists corrosion, holds its shape after contact, and will not scratch the window frame during installation or removal.
Mill finish is raw aluminum, which blends with unpainted or natural metal window frames. White is powder-coated for homes with white or painted trim. Measure first, then choose finish.
For unique window openings sitting outside standard factory grid lines, an affordable fiberglass screen roll alternative is available for custom field adjustments. This method gives you a clean result for non-standard tracks, though cut-to-size materials are non-returnable.
Mobile home screens must be an exact match to stay secure in the window track. Follow these four checks to confirm your size before you add to cart.
Measure the outside edges of the aluminum frame. Do not measure the mesh area. Most manufactured home windows use these three standard widths: 29 5/8", 35 5/8", or 45 5/8". If your existing frame is bent or warped rather than just the screen mesh, you may need a full window replacement. Browse our manufactured home windows for sizing options.
If your measurement looks like "almost 30 inches," it is a 29 5/8" screen. If it looks like "almost 36 inches," it is a 35 5/8" screen. Selecting the whole number will result in a screen that is too large for the opening.
Every stocked size uses the standard 5/16" frame thickness, which fits the majority of aluminum mobile home window tracks.
If your measurement does not match a stocked size or your window track looks non-standard, call us at 800-368-6208 before ordering. Returns require unopened original packaging.
Yes. The frame stays in place. You are replacing the screen unit only, not the window assembly. This is a direct swap as long as the replacement matches your existing fractional dimensions.
No. Standard residential screens are built to different dimensions and frame depths. Manufactured home windows use thinner frames and fractional sizing that standard screens will not match. Hardware store screens are sized for conventional construction.
Fractional dimensions like 29 5/8" and 35 5/8" are specific to manufactured housing. Most local stores stock screens for standard residential construction only. If you have searched locally without success, these sizes are stocked and ready to ship.
The 36" x 84" fiberglass screen roll is available for openings outside our stocked dimensions. If you need to build a custom frame from scratch, browse our Window Parts and Accessories for spline, frame corners, and screen material. Note that cut-to-size products are non-returnable.
These replacement screens are sized to the fractional dimensions that Kinro and Philips windows use as factory standard. If your window was built to 29 5/8", 35 5/8", or 45 5/8" widths, the corresponding screen in our grid is a compatible fit. If you are unsure of your window brand or dimensions, measure the outside edges of your existing screen frame before ordering.
Window screens ship via USPS or UPS. Most orders are packaged and leave our warehouse within 1 to 7 business days. Tracking is sent once your order ships.
Unopened screens in original packaging can be returned within 30 days. Contact us for an RMA number before sending anything back. A 20% restocking fee applies and the buyer covers return shipping. Review our returns and refunds policy for full details. Opened or installed screens cannot be returned.
