Mobile home vinyl skirting panels fit between the top and bottom rails around your mobile home. If one panel is damaged, you can replace that panel without removing the entire section. For small cracks, caulk and sealants can help seal the damaged area.

Mobile home vinyl skirting is a lightweight option for enclosing the open space around a mobile home. The panels can be handled and positioned individually during installation, making it practical when working around the perimeter of the home.

Vinyl siding and skirting are made for different parts of a mobile home. Mobile home vinyl siding is designed for the walls, while vinyl skirting is designed for the area below the home and is made for ground-level installation.

A full perimeter of skirting ships by freight rather than parcel due to the panel length. Pickup is available at any of our 7 North Carolina locations in Fayetteville, Erwin, Sanford, Goldsboro, Winston-Salem, and Ramseur. Call 800-368-6208 with your panel count and the pickup location you prefer.
Four things to check on your current setup before ordering: panel thickness, rail type, cutting tools, and transport.

Panel thickness affects durability. Thinner panels, around 20 mil, are less expensive but bend under pressure and are more likely to crack in cold weather. Heavier panels around 40 mil hold their shape and stand up to routine impact. Mil rating is not always listed, so call to confirm.
Vinyl skirting uses one of two rail systems at the top edge. A J-rail screws to the wall and the panel slides up inside it. A track system holds the panel in a channel instead. The two systems are not interchangeable, so match your existing rail or plan to replace it.
Vinyl skirting panels can be cut with common tools. A fine-tooth circular saw blade installed in reverse gives a clean straight cut. Tin snips work for notches around steps and pipes. A utility knife scores and snaps a straight line. No specialized tool is required.
Vinyl skirting panels are 140 inches long, close to twelve feet. Transport requires a pickup truck bed or a flatbed trailer. A standard car or SUV will not fit them. Confirm how you plan to get the panels home before ordering, or read our shipping policy for delivery.
Vinyl skirting is available on this page and at our seven North Carolina store locations. Some regions list the same product as vinyl underpinning for mobile homes. Replacing your mobile home skirting takes more than just the panels. You may also need rails, trim, divider bars, spikes, and other installation hardware. Find the panels and matching parts together on our mobile home skirting page.
The amount of skirting you need depends on the length around your home and the height from the ground to the bottom of the siding. Panels, rails, trim, and hardware are sold separately. Call 800-368-6208 with your measurements, and we can help you determine the quantities you need.
Use a fine-tooth circular saw blade for straight cuts and tin snips for small cuts or notches. If the vinyl is very cold, let the panel warm up before cutting to reduce the chance of cracking.
Vinyl siding is not rated for ground contact and can fail inspection when used as skirting. Soil moisture also causes siding panels to warp over time. For a heavier appearance at ground level, mobile home metal skirting is the alternative.
Remove the damaged panel from the top and bottom rails, then fit the replacement panel into the same rails. Before ordering, check the color and panel size. Older skirting can fade over time, so a new panel may look slightly different from the existing panels.
Vinyl skirting fades gradually from sun exposure over years. Impact damage is more likely to end the life of a panel than weathering. For a look closer to stone or brick, EverRock skirting and vinyl brick skirting are alternatives to standard vinyl.
